Yeo Moor celebrates excellent Ofsted report

Children at a high performing award-winning primary school are celebrating after receiving an excellent ofsted report.   Yeo Moor Primary School were rated Good with Outstanding features and are now rocketing towards being Outstanding in every area after 3 fantastic years of achievement.

The high performing school have seen a big improvement in standards since joining the inspirational Clevedon Learning Trust, and have received endorsements for its winning methods.  Now Ofsted inspectors say that pupils benefit from high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, personal development, behaviour and welfare, outcomes for pupils.

They declared that their Early Years provision is Outstanding.

Inspectors also stated that the school has benefited fron membership of the CLT and added: " An unwavering focus on providing the best possible oppportunities for pupils follows the core values of the school, 'Care, Cherish, Excel'.

Head Teacher Roland Lovatt said "We are delighted with this report and will focus on achieving Outstanding in every single area.  We have had three years of incredible achievement.  Well done to all the staff and pupils for all their hard work, and the community of parents, carers and governors for their support."

Executive Head Teacher of the CLT John Wells said, " I am thrilled with this report and congraulations should go to all the staff and pupils for this tremendous achievement."

Ofsted inspectors also said that the headteacher's strong leadership and highly effective governing body has bought about improvements to ensure teaching, learning and assessments meet pupils learning needsThey added that "Leaders have been successful in establishing high standards of behaviour, which have created a calm, purposeful and orderly learning environment."

And they said that " Outstanding support for pupils' personal development and welfare creates a strong culture of care in which pupils demonstrate respect for others."
