Nursery and Preschool
At Yeo Moor we provide an extraordinary education, value individuality and prepare children with the knowledge, skills and values to be lifelong learners in an ever changing world. We provide Nursery and Preschool education for children from 2 years old.
We offer innovative learning opportunities that will inspire curiosity, develop inquiring minds and maximise learning potential for all children.
The preschool curriculum is enriching, meaningful and active so that our children can become fully immersed in their learning. The children will learn through a series of well-planned 'themed enquiries' to engage them in a broad range of learning opportunities.
Our curriculum for the foundation stage is based on the seven areas of learning within the early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework. These areas are: communication and language, personal social and emotional development, physical development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design.
Also influencing the delivery of the curriculum are the four themes of the EYFS: the unique pupil, positive relationships, enabling environment, learning and development.
Children will learn through fully immersive joy-filled experiences where their teachers facilitate and challenge them to ensure they can meet their full learning potential.

Early years entitlement funding
You may be able to get free childcare if your child is aged 9 months to 4 years old and you live in England.
To be eligible for free childcare, you (and your partner, if you have one) need to be in work or about to start a new job and earn over a certain amount. You will need a National Insurance number to apply.
You can apply for 30 hours of free childcare from when your child is 23 weeks old. Check the deadlines for applying.
To apply you’ll need to set up a childcare account.
If your application is approved, you’ll get an 11-digit code that proves you’re eligible to get free childcare. You’ll need to give this code to your childcare provider (Yeo Moor Preschool and Nursery).
The Government provides universal 15 hours funded childcare for 3 and 4-year-olds to attend an early years setting for 38 weeks (190 days) of the year. Children become eligible to receive this funding the term after their 3rd birthday.
See Childcare Choices link below to check eligibility.
